The exciting lands of  Turkey offer adventure, rich cultural experiences and breathtaking scenery. With its broad vistas and dramatic scenery, its ubiquitous borders, and a fascinating history and culture, this trip gives a truly varied insight into a part of Turkey rarely seen by foreign visitors.
The tour will start in Istanbul after visiting 2 full days of Istanbul, it will continue to Black Sea region with a domestic flight. 
Lovely mountain villages  and traditional Ottoman houses are located around  Uzungöl, which has a picturesque lake, Sümela Monastery in the province of Trabzon or highlands around the northern cities of Rize, Trabzon, . The characteristics of northern Turkey are completely different from those of western Turkey. Each region has its own lifestyle, but the difference and originality is at its best when it comes to northern Turkey. To see how the greenery meets the Black Sea and how natural beauty has been preserved, a tour of the Black Sea coast is a must. 
You will fly to Ankara to visit the administrative capital and proceed to Cappadocia, Pamukkale, Ephesus, Pergamon, Troy, Gallipoli and at the end it will conclude in Istanbul again.

Itinerary

Day 1Arrival to Istanbul

Arrival to Istanbul . Meet with english speaking assistant at the airport . Transfer to the hotel for check in . Overnight at the hotel .

Day 2Istanbul

Breakfast at the hotel . Departure from the hotel to visit Topkapi Palace ( harem section entrance free is not included ) the house of the ottoman sultans . Free time at Grand Bazaar . ( closed during the first day of the religious holidays ) . Lunch at local restaruant . After panoramic visit of the City following the visit of Taksim / Istiklal Street which is the center and the heart of the City where you can find several shops , restaurants , bars and movie theather along with antigue monuments and houses that go back to 17th and 18th century . Transfer back to the hotel .

Day 3Istanbul

Breakfast at the hotel . Drive from your hotel to Spice Market for shopping . Free time. Then meet and proceed to take 1,5 hrs Bosphorus Cruise excursion along the Bosphorus , that is dividing the 2 continents Asia & Europe . During the excursion you will enjoy the beauty of Istanbul , with its forest , Palaces and wooden old houses built on both continents . Lunch at local restaurant . After lunch visit Sultanahmet Mosque , Hippodrome and the famous Hagia Sophia .

Day 4Istanbul - Flight to Trabzon - Sumela - Uzungöl

Breakfast at the hotel , transfer to the airport of Istanbul and take a domestic flight to Trabzon ( included .) Arrival to Trabzon Airport . Departure to our first visit, which is the Monastry of Sumela , embedded between heaven and earth , an evoking example of the art of Byzantine . Our next visit is Uzungol , on the way to Uzungol , we will stop at Surmene region which is famous with it’s handmade knifes. We will have a short stop at the local knife shops .Free time for lunch . Continue for Uzungol ( Long lake ) , we will have a walk around the lake to enjoy the beauity of the nature .

Day 5Uzungöl - Ayder Plateau - Çamlıhemşin

Breakfast at the hotel. Our fist visit will be the Ayder Plateau , we will be entering the plateau through the valley of Fırtına . Photo stop the Waterfall of Gelintulu where we will have a short walk following a photo stop . Free time for lunch . Continue with the visit of the Castle of Zilkale which was build during the 14th century , 750 meters above the sea level . The next stop will be the Waterfall of Palovit where the water descends from 15 meters . Overnight: Çamlıhemşin Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Day 6Çamlıhemşin - Çayeli - Trabzon - Flight to Ankara

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Cayeli , which is the production center of the clothing items of ‘indian hemp’ . Here we will see the local shops full with souvenier items that is made with famous local pattern ‘ Feretiko’ . Continue to Trabzon , drop off at the center of Trabzon where we will have a walking that includes the panoramic visits of Gulbahar Hatun Mosque ( a mosque constracted to the name of the mother of the Emperor Yavuz Sultan Selim ) , the Church of Santa Ana and the Mosque of Ortahisar . Free time for lunch . After lunch , we will visit the Mosque of Santa Sofia ( ex Museum & church ) which is situated on a hillside , overlooking the sea. On the interior walls of the monument there are some frescos . Transfer to the airport and take domestic flight to Ankara ( included ) . Arrival to Ankara. Transfer to the hotel .

Day 7Ankara - Cappadocia

Breakfast at the hotel . Visit Anatolian Civilizations Museum where you will see the Neolithic & Paleolithic ruins from Urartu , Hatti, Hittite, Phrygia civilizations, then proceed to Mausoleum of Ataturk , the founder of Turkish Republic. In the afternoon drive to Cappadocia . En route visit the Underground city that is one of the biggest underground city in the region, constructed by the first Christians to protect themselves from the attacks …We dcontinue to proceed to the Derwish House to attend Whirling Dervishes Ceremony which represents the mystical journey of spiritual ascent of man using love, the search for the truth and get to the “Perfection”.

Day 8Cappadocia

Breakfast . Full day visit at Cappadocia . Visit Göreme Open Air Museum – a UNESCO Heritage site , a fantastic region with it’s cave churches located on the valley. Then proceed to Uchisar Village and then the spectacular fairy chimneys. Visit Derbent Valley with and explore the natural rock formations and get a chance to attend the workshops of carpets and onyx-stones .

En route visit Sultanhan Caravansarai that was built during Seljuk Empire and used long years as a stop over for the travellers and merchants.Continue to Pamukkale . Visit Cotton Steps – a UNESCO heritage site that has been believed to have healing thermal water. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 10Pamukkale - Ephesus - Izmir

Breakfast . Drive to Selcuk – Ephesus . Visit the Ephesus Ruins – the city that was dedicated to Artemis I the Odeon, Temple of Hadrian, the House of Love, the Library of Celsus, the Agora .Then proceed for Virgin Mary House – has been believed it is the final resting place of the mother of Jesus . Then stop at Leather Production Store . Proceed for Izmir .

Day 11İzmir - Pergamon - Troy - Çanakkale

Breakfast . Drive to Pergamon ( Bergama ) region and visit the ruins of Asclepion which is the first hospital of Asia Minor in human history . Then continue to Troy , visit the famous city that evokes the poetic name of Homer’s Iliad. Continue to Canakkale .

Day 12Çanakkale - Gallipoli - Istanbul

Breakfast . We will cross Dardanelles Strait by car ferry and continue to Gallipoli Peninsula. We will visit one of the most emotionally touching places in Turkey, the WWI Battlefields of Gallipoli, including Brighton Beach, Beach Cemetery, ANZAC Cove, Ariburnu Cemetery, ANZAC Commemorative Site, Respect to Mehmetcik Statue, Lone Pine Australian Memorial, Johnston’s Jolly, Turkish and Allied trenches and tunnels, 57. Regiment Turkish Memorial,The Nek,Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial. Continuation to Istanbul for overnight.
