Day 1 Arrive in Paris, France

 
Arrival to Paris , meet and greet and transfer to your city centered hotel in Paris.

Day 2Champs-Elysées, Petit Palais, Quartier du Marais, Covered passages, Galeries Lafayette

 
After breakfast, we will start our day by visiting the Marais district, the historical neighborhood of Paris. We will leave our hotel and will explore the small streets of Marais. The tour will be on foot today, so get ready your sneakers ! Also known as an historical village, today Marais is famous with its small charming streets and boutiques, and recently became a fashion hub. After visiting the numerous art galleries in the neighborhood, we will change our direction to the famous passages of Paris which are known to be the world’s most fascinating ones! The visit will start with; Panoramas Passage. The oldest passage of the city opened in 1799, Véro-Dodat Gallery, Jouffroy Passage, Vivienne Gallery, Colbert Gallery. You will have a day full of extraordinary and inevitable places to discover!
 
Fragonard perfume museum
Our next stop will be Fragonard perfume museum: Since 1926, Fragonard laboratories have kept their formulas a secret. They still continue producing their French perfumery traditions, perfumes, eau de toilettes and fragrant products. Following the perfume museum discovery, we will visit the capital’s one of the most famous stores, Galerie Lafayette ! The store’s building is an architectural heritage dating back the 19th century, not only we will appreciate its elegant decoration and will have the opportunity to shop, but also we will go up to the store’s terrace on the 7th floor to see Paris’s beautiful monuments, like Opera Garnier, Tour Eiffel, Sacré Coeur, Notre Dame. We will get the chance to enjoy the breathtaking view of its monuments.

After lunch break in Opera district, we will head to the world wide famous avenue, les Champs-Elysées found on the historical axis of Paris, starting from the Concorde Square, continuing up until the Arc de Triomphe. Our first stop on the avenue is the Petit Palais Museum, which is also known as the city’s Museum of Fine Arts (Musée des Beaux-Arts de la Ville de Paris), we will get to visit its diverse collection and sympathetic garden! The tour will end in Champs-Elysées.

Day 3The Eiffel Tower - Seine River Cruise - Monmartre- Sacré Coeur

After breakfast at the hotel, we will start the day by visiting the Eiffel Tower which has become the symbol of the city since the day it was built, and it is one of the most important cultural heritages of the country. After the Eiffel Tower visit, we will take the Bateaux Parisiens boats on the pier opposite to the tower and take an hour-long Seine River trip. We will not only be enjoying a pleasant Paris experience, but we will also be appreciating many important places at once from the river ! After the boat tour, with our private car/bus, we will go up to the hill of “Montmartre” also known as the “Hill of Painters”, where the bohemian life still continues and where we will spend our whole afternoon. Our visit will start by the “Sacré-Cœur” Church, where God is depicted and thereafter we will start our Montmartre tour.
 
We will see the house of the famous singer Dalida, the Montmartre vineyards, the small parc with the St Denis statue, the small streets surrounding them and will visit the shops at famous square and have a lunch break. During this free time, you can have your portrait painted and go back home with an unforgettable souvenir ! Finally, we will end the tour at the famous store Benlux where you can find perfume and cosmetic products for a very good deal.

Day 4Paris - Rome (Flight)

 
After breakfast transfer to the Paris airports and flight to Rome. Upon your arrival at the airport of the ‘Eternal City’, a member of our team will be waiting for you in one of our private vehicles to welcome you and transfer you comfortably and quickly to your hotel. The rest of the day will be free for you to relax, and if you wish, begin to enjoy Rome at your own pace.

Day 5Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, St. Peter's Basilica

 
After breakfast , you will join a 3-hour tour of the Vatican, Rome’s most popular tourist destination, with fast-track access and explore the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel, and the St. Peter’s Basilica.
Inside the Vatican Museums your expert English-speaking guides will share their knowledge of the Vatican’s 4,000 year-old history, share secrets and stories of days gone by, whilst taking you round the Gallery of Tapestries, the Gallery of Maps – what seems like a never-ending room decorated with beautifully detailed Italian maps, the Gallery of Candelabras – where you will gaze in awe at the ancient sculptures and extravagant candelabras from the Imperial villas. You will finish off with a stroll in Bramante’s Pinecone Courtyard, where you can wander, bathed in the sunshine and the delights of the garden, or get your souvenir holiday snap by the bronze Pigna statue.
Your next stop will be the best part of your trip to Rome, the Sistine Chapel – an experience you will never forget! You will marvel at Michelangelo’s famous The Creation of Adam, The Last Judgement and spend time taking in the enchantment of the Pope’s private chapel.
Papal Basilica of Saint Peter in the Vatican

 

The last visit will be to the beautiful St Peter’s Basilica. Here you will immerse yourself in the home of the Catholic Church, take time to admire Michelangelo’s sculpture La Pietà and Bernini’s Baldacchino – the ornate bronze canopy that sits above St Peter’s high altar. The construction of the Basilica lasted 160 years with the engagement of first-rate artists. Maderno’s façade, Michelangelo’s dome, or Bernini’s Square are just some of the wonders that will draw your attention during your visit. You will also be able to pay your respects to the tomb of John Paul II and that of John XXIII.
The Basilica of Saint Peter houses the Holy See, the most important religious edifice of Catholicism, where the Pope celebrates the most important religious services. The Basilica owes its name to the first Pope in history, Saint Peter, whose body is believed to lie inside, below the high altar of the basilica.
At the end of your tour, you can linger in the Vatican City for the rest of the day or join one of the other tours available to some of the city’s important landmarks.

Day 6Colosseum And Roman Forum

 

After breakfast , you will join a half-day tour of Rome. You will start by visiting the interior of the Colosseum, the most famous monument in the world and the principal symbol of Rome. This visit will take you back in time to discover what the ancient society of the Roman Empire was like. Inside, the guide will give you a fascinating account of the brutal events that took place there, clarifying how this architectural ingenuity worked and responding to all your queries.

During the Roman Empire and under the motto of “Pan et Circus”, the Roman Coliseum (known then as the Flavian Amphitheater) allowed more than 50,000 people to enjoy their favorite shows. After the completion of its construction it became the largest Roman amphitheater. Emperor Titus inaugurated it with 100 days of games, which cost the lives of more than 2,000 gladiators.

You will then continue to the Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum, whose unique historical, monumental and archaeological value ​​is of world importance. The views from the Palatine Hill, through the Forums or the Circus Maximus alone would make a trip to Italy worthwhile, but the opportunities to admire the singular beauty of these places are simply endless.

Day 7Rome - Athens (Flight)

 
After breakfast transfer to the airprt for a flight to Athens. On Athens, arrival you will be met by our assistant and transferred to your hotel by our minibus or taxi driver. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 8Athens - Acropolis and the modern city

After breakfast we will meet you at your hotel or close by, in order to start the morning Half Day Athens Sightseeing Tour.

This tour gives you an opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city. Our expert guides will take you to see the Panathenaic Stadium, home to the first Olympic Games of the modern era, where we will make a short stop. As we continue our trip, we will pass by the Prime Minister’s residence (ex Royal Palace), guarded by the Evzones in their colorful uniform, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian’s Arch, the Parliament and memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy of Athens, the University, the National Library and the Constitution Square (Syntagma).
One cannot take a tour of Athens without visiting the Acropolis, one of the world’s most prominent sites and a symbol for democracy in the Western world! It is there that you will explore architectural masterpieces of the Golden Age of Pericles. From the Propylaea, to the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and of course the Parthenon, a place where ‘there is harmony between material and spirit’, a the monument that ‘restores order in the mind’, as ancient Greeks used to say. Your last stop will be the modern Acropolis Museum, with nearly 4,000 exhibits of Hellenism housed inside.

Day 9Saronic Islands Cruise

Early morning transfer by motor coach from the center of Athens to the port to embark on the cruise ship in order to start the full day cruise to the 3 beautiful Islands of Hydra, Poros and Aegina, which are nearby Athens (lunch on board is included). Return to port in the evening and transfer back to your hotel in Athens.

Day 10Athens - Istanbul

After breakfast, transfer to Athens International Airport for a flight to Istanbul. Arrive at Istanbul Airport and transfer to the hotel. Free dat at leisure.

Day 11Istanbul Highlights

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from your hotel to explore Old City. Stroll through Sogukcesme Street with typical wooden house which are now landmark buildings of ottoman architecture. Arrive to Topkapi Palace, the largest and oldest of the remaining palaces where Ottoman Sultans used to live; admire the gardens, kitchens, the treasury section as well as terraces overlooking the Bosphorus and the Golden Horn. Photo stop at the Fountain of Sultan Ahmet the 3rd and explore Saint Sophia, the masterpiece of Byzantine architecture dating back to the VIth century. After lunch, visit the Blue Mosque covered by more than 20.000 Iznik tiles and continue with the Roman Hippodrome where the char races used to take place. Discover the handcrafts of Anatolia and shop in the labyrinth tunnels of the Grand Bazaar.

Day 12Istanbul Bosphorus

 
In the morning, explore the Spice Market to feel the exotism of the Orient. Enjoy a langourous boat trip along the European and Asian coasts of the Bosphorus. Enjoy a fish lunch under the Galata Bridge with stunning views over the silhouette of the Old City. In the afternoon visit the Mosque of Soliman the Magnificent, the masterpiece of architect Sinan dating back to XVth century. Continue with Eyup district by the Golden Horn; climb up the hill by cable car to admire the panorama and maybe have a tea or coffee at Pierre Loti Café. Walk down through the historic cemetery where you’ll discover the grave stones from ottoman era and finally visit the tomb and the mosque of Eyup.
