Tour Details
The island complex of Dodecanese in south-eastern Aegean is the sunniest corner in Greece. The Dodecanese islands are located on the southeastern side of Greece, between the Cyclades and the coasts of Turkey. With a different style, these Greek islands stand out for their Medieval architecture and the peaceful beaches.
The most popular islands of Dodecanese Greece are Rhodes and Kos, while Symi isalso getting famous over the last years. The rest islands of Dodecanese, smaller in size, are considered more alternative holiday destinations. Although Rhodes and Kos are the most popular islands of Dodecanese, we suggest a trip to the less known islands to get a better view of this amazing complex.

Itinerary

Day 1Bodrum Arrival

Meeting at the Bodrum Harbour. Boarding starts by 15:30 from Bodrum Harbor. You will have free time to visit the town’s highlights. Your boat will remain anchored in Bodrum for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2Kos Island

After your breakfast you will be informed about the cruise itinerary and boat. When the customs formalities are completed, we will cruise to Kos Island which is the second largest island of the Dodecanese after Rhodes, it has a rich history that is reflected in its architecture and historic monuments. The harbor is guarded by an imposing castle of the Knights of St. John, while 17th century Ottoman mosques and buildings stand next to austere Italian public buildings built during the fascist period. Extensive Hellenistic and Roman remains lay amongst public gardens.
Dinner and overnight stay will be at Kos Harbor. You may join our optional Asclepion & Zia Village tours or you may also explore the city by yourself.

Day 3Gyali and Nisyros Islands

Early in the morning, we will have a swimming break at a bay of Gyali Island on the way to Nisyros Island. The volcano on Nisyros erupted in 1422 and is still active. Nikea village, located on the side of the crater is constituted with white streets and a mosaic-style square. You can take an optional bus tour to the crater (volcano).
The last eruption was in 1888 and you can still feel the volcano pulsing beneath your feet. Our local guide explains the fascinating natural phenomena before we depart on foot to climb out of the caldera, up to the whitewashed village of Nikia, which is perched overlooking the crater rim
Your boat will stay here for the dinner and the overnight.

Day 4Symi Island

Our next destination is the charming bay of Nanou in Symi Island where the boat will anchor for lunch and a swimming break. We will anchor at Symi Port late in the afternoon. You can see the shoreline with its neo-classical houses and the peripheral districts.
This is our most challenging, but perhaps most rewarding, walk as we crest a high ridge and then gradually descend into town, which was once a stylish and wealthy seaport famous for its sponge-divers.You are going to adore Symi Island for its colourful houses and narrow streets with hundreds of stairs.
Dinner on board, then you’re free to wander into town tonight to check out the scene since we’ll be moored in the port. Overnight Symi town.

Day 5Rhodes Island

We will cruise to Rhodes early in the morning. Here you can join our optional old city tour or you can discover by yourselves. The main port of Rhodes is Rhodes City which bears the same name as the island. The other touristical areas of Rhodes island are; Lindos and Kamiros.
This city, which is still surrounded by a 12 meter thick city-wall which gives you the feeling of travelling back to Medieval times especially when you walk around its narrow, stone-paved roads. After dinner, we highly recommend you to enjoy in Rhodes Town night out.

Day 6Datça - Palamutbükü - Knidos

We return to Turkey via Datca customs. While your boat is supplying fresh provisions, you may take a walk in Datca Harbor. After we will cruise to Palamutbuku for lunch, you may also take a walk in the village. Today our final destination will be the world famous ancient city of Knidos. You may visit the open air museum after a swimming break.
