On this ten-day Turkey Western Tour, you will have the chance to step inside the great Hagia Sophia an architectural marvel. Experience rural life as we pass through the countryside of Turkey and see the lush wheat fields and orchards. The Cappadocia area holds marvelous lunar landscape where churches have been carved and volcanic dust has been weathered into large cones. We can wander the tunnels and chambers of an entire underground city dug into the Cappadocia in which citizens took shelter during times of strife. Get a feel for life in ancient times by exploring the beautifully preserved city of Ephesus. Your guide will walk you through the remarkable ruins and bring its colorful 1500-year history to life. Reflect on the tragedies and gallantries that took place along Gallipoli’s windswept peninsula. Breakfast. We will cross Dardanelles Strait by car ferry and continue to Gallipoli Peninsula. We will visit one of the most emotionally touching places in Turkey, the WWI Battlefields of Gallipoli, including Brighton Beach, Beach Cemetery, ANZAC Cove, Ariburnu Cemetery, ANZAC Commemorative Site, Respect to Mehmetcik Statue, Lone Pine Australian Memorial, Johnston’s Jolly, Turkish and Allied trenches and tunnels, 57. Regiment Turkish Memorial,The Nek,Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial. Arrival late (between 08:00 pm and 09:00 pm) to Istanbul transfer to your hotel. End of our services.
