About Us

Clinging onto the caldera cliffside in Oia, this charming 20-room upper-middle-range hotel enchants its Cycladic style, personable service, and stunning location that makes for mesmerizing sunset views. A beautiful outdoor pool  it’s not heated) grants sweeping views over the water, as does the adjacent bar/restaurant that serves fresh Mediterranean fare. A tasty complimentary breakfast gets excellent reviews and can be served directly to guests’ private terraces (each room has a lovely furnished outdoor space with views). The cave-style rooms range from studios to multi-bedroom units and feature rustic-minimalist decor. Some have perks like outdoor whirlpool tubs or plunge pools. With children under 12 discouraged, this is an ideal spot for couples.

Charming boutique hotel with gorgeous views

Featuring traditional cyclical whitewashed architecture that’s scenically built into the cliffside, this charming upper-middle-range hotel offers dreamy views over the water and island caldera coastline. Picturesque terraces and patios are ideal lounging spots for sunbathing and sweeping vistas, particularly enchanting at sunset. Due to its hillside location, the property features numerous steps leading throughout the grounds, which can be problematic for those with mobility issues and add to the place’s charm. Cycladic interiors are traditionally minimalist, pairing whitewashed walls with blue doors and simple wooden furniture, but there’s not much in common interior spaces- life revolves around the outdoors. Most guests tend to be couples, though the larger units also attract groups of friends and families. Kids under 12 are discouraged (too many stairs), so the atmosphere is tranquil and relaxing.

Stunning cliffside location in the western part of Oia

The hotel is located in the picturesque village of Oia in the northwestern part of Santorini island, in an area home to many similar hotels. The charming town offers plenty of dining options and shops, all within a five- to 10-minute walk of the property. There are several attractions, such as castle ruins with epic sunset views (a four-minute walk away), a maritime museum (a two-minute walk), and a couple of art galleries. Red Beach is about a 30-minute drive. Santos Winery takes about 25 minutes to reach by car or ATV. The bus terminal is a seven-minute walk away, giving access across the island, including the main town of Fira, which is about a half-hour drive from Oia. The airport is a 30-minute drive away, while the ferry port can be reached in about 30 minutes in Fira.

Chic cave-style rooms with private furnished terraces; some have outdoor whirlpool tubs or plunge pools

The hotel offers several rooms, ranging from Honeymoon Suites to Studios to Cave Houses. All are styled in a traditional minimalist cave style, featuring simple wooden furniture like white marble-topped tables and wood and rattan chairs. Blue doors and windows contrast with whitewashed walls. Larger units also have day beds, and some have multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, making them ideal for families or groups. All the units have private terraces with beautiful sea views, comfy loungers to relax in, and tables and chairs. Some units also have outdoor whirlpool tubs or private plunge pools. All rooms feature flat-screen TVs, DVD players, minibars, electric kettles, French presses, air-conditioning, safes, and free Wi-Fi. Bathrooms can be small, but they’re covered in Greek marble and come equipped with walk-in showers. Toiletries and hairdryers are provided. Note that some units are duplexes with staircases, which can pose a problem for some travelers.

Beautiful pool with stunning views, charming poolside bar/restaurant serves Mediterranean fare and complimentary daily breakfast.

One of the highlights here is the hotel’s beautiful pool, built into the cliff and features a lovely pool deck with stunning panoramic views over the surroundings. Chic loungers and umbrellas offer a spot to relax with a view. Note that the pool is unheated and can be icy in cooler months. The hotel’s restaurant/bar adjoins the pool area with a handful of alfresco tables commanding the same captivating view over the sea and coastline. Mediterranean fare is served for dinner, emphasizing local ingredients and seafood. Smoothies and cocktails are available from the bar throughout the day, as are light meals like wraps and salads. A daily breakfast is included in rates and gets excellent reviews from guests. Based on personal preferences, it includes hot and cold items and can be delivered at a requested time to guest terraces (or served on the hotel’s dining terrace). Like most (if not all) cliff-side hotels in Oia, there is no on-site parking here, and guests should note that a steep walk is required to reach the hotel from the street.
