Day 2Athens - Kefalonia

Enjoy an orientation walk of Zurich’s OLD TOWN, Switzerland’s center of banking and commerce. Then, leave Zurich and start your Swiss adventure. You’ll quickly discover that Switzerland isn’t just home to the Alps, but also to some of the most beautiful lakes. First, stop at the foot of the Jura Mountains in the picturesque town of Biel, known as Bienne by French-speaking Swiss, famous for watch-making, and explore the historical center. Next, enjoy a scenic drive to lakeside Neuchâtel, dominated by the medieval cathedral and castle. Time to stroll along the lake promenade before continuing to stunning Geneva, the second-largest city in Switzerland, with its fantastic lakeside location and breathtaking panoramas of the Alps.

Day 3Kefalonia

Beautiful panoramic view of Assos village with vivid colorful houses near blue turquoise colored and transparent bay lagoon. Kefalonia, Greece.

Day at leisure to enjoy this magnificent island, also known as “Cefalonia”. Far from the concept of arid landscape that prevails on other islands, here the green, the cliffs and the long beaches of golden sand prevail. Among its main attractions are the charming town of Fiskardo, Mirtos beach as well as the mysterious cave of Melissani. The proximity of Kefalonia to the world-famous island of Ithaka, mentioned by Homer in his heroic poem Odyssey, offers a great opportunity for an exciting day trip.

Day 4Kefalonia - Zante

Navagio Beach

After breakfast, and already immersed in the Greek way of life, one of our vehicles will pick you up at the appointed time early in the morning to take you to the port, where you will continue onto your next destination: the island known for the shipwreck beach or “Navagio Beach”, Zakynthos. This single, worldwide recongnised, postcard image summarizes what a thousand words have tried to do: glorify the hidden character of this region in the Ionian Sea.

It should be noted that the island’s airport is named after the island’s most important citizen, the 19th century poet Dionysus Solomos, one of the leading modern Greek poets and author of the national anthem.

Day 5Zante

After a delicious breakfast, this day is completely free so that you can enjoy the wonderful beaches and emerald green waters that characterize the Ionian Sea. Alternatively, you can visit Navagio Beach or “the shipwreck”. Undoubtedly, the island’s impressive landscapes will be imprinted in your mind as well as the excellent local cuisine, characteristic of the Mediterranean as a whole.
If you decide to tour the city on your own, we recommend the church of Agios Nikolas, a 17th century Renaissance-style church, and one of the few buildings that have survived the earthquake and fire of 1953. Another relevant point is the Church of Our Lady of the Angels, which has magnificent Cretan paintings.
