Day 2Barcelona Full Day Tour

At 8:15 am at Barcelona’s Estación del Norte you’ll meet your knowledgeable English-speaking guide and set off on a walking tour of El Born, along the narrow streets of the Gothic quarter, the centre of Barcelona’s old town and historic centre.

During this first part of the tour, we’ll see some of the most emblematic spots in the Catalan capital, such as Las Ramblas the old Jewish Quarter, the Plaza de San Jaime and the exterior of the Cathedral.

Then we will make our way by foot to Plaza de Catalunya. From there we will start a panoramic bus tour of Barcelona. During the tour, we’ll pass along the coastal Barceloneta area, drinking in the sea breeze.

And we’ll discover radical changes to the city that came with the celebration of the 1992 Olympic Games, visiting the Olympic Village and the Olympic Port!

The bus route will conclude in Montjuïc, the most famous mountain in the city. There we’ll take the cable car, soaring over the city and enjoying its best views. Finally, we will stop at the viewpoint of the National Museum of Art of Catalonia so that you can enjoy the panoramic views.

Before concluding the panoramic tour, we will visit the elegant Paseo de Gracia, where some of Barcelona’s masterpieces of Modernism are located, including two of Gaudí’s finest works: Casa Batlló and La Pedrera.

Finally, we will go by bus to the central Plaza de Catalunya. The tour will conclude at this point around 12:45 pm.

Overnight: Barcelona  Meals: Breakfast

Important information

From the end of January to the beginning of March the Montjuïc cable car is not operational. If you do the tour on those dates, we will instead enjoy a ride aboard the cable car in the port of Barcelona.

Day 3Sagrada Familia & Towers

We will meet at Corner of Calle Mallorca with Calle Marina, next to the metro exit elevator at 03:30 PM. The Sagrada Familia (Basilica and Expiatory Church of the Holy Family) was Antoni Gaudí’s last and most ambitious project before he died. It is considered Barcelona’s main symbol. Duration : 2-hour guided tour

Before entering the temple, your knowledgeable English-speaking guide will lead you around the impressive structure and explain its various façades, including the Nativity Façade. Next, skip the lines and explore the awe-inspiring interior accompanied by your guide. Gaudí was especially influenced by nature and you’ll admire the building’s colossal columns that look like a concrete forest.

Discover how the Catalan architect conceived his masterpiece by marveling at his various blueprints and drawings. Then, see how little by little and with a few variations, the temple is becoming a reality with the money obtained from the entrance tickets and third-party donations.

Climb the towers

At the end of the visit, you’ll be handed a ticket to climb to the top of one of the towers and enjoy breath-taking views over Barcelona. You’ll take a lift up to the observation deck and then climb down 300 steps. An unforgettable experience!
