The next place you visit is a little store that serves a wide variety of traditional Northern cakes, including Com cake, also known as young rice, which is regarded as a staple of every Hanoian’s upbringing. To get a sense of the typical Hanoi “tube houses,” follow your guide to a little lane. You will make a stop at Banh My Lan Ong to sample their renowned Pâté and bread.
