Joining this tour is a great way to visit a lot of the highlights. Small group travel eliminates the strain of planning transportation and navigation in favor of getting to know new people and experiencing the culture together. Highlights (there were many): Alhambra madrid in general etc.

Hello! We hadn’t been to Spain or Portugal before, and all we knew about them was stuff we learned in school years ago. Luckily, Elena, our young, lively tour guide and “mother” for the trip, taught us history at the right time and gave us all the information we needed as we went. The people on the train were friendly and interesting. They came from many different countries and cultures and were between the ages of 18 and 72, with most being in their 60s. Most of them were from Australia, Canada, and the United States. Elena quickly made us all feel like we were part of one happy family.
