Day 1Arrive in Istanbul, Turkey

Welcome to Turkey! Meet with our English speaking assistant at the airport . Transfer to the hotel for check in . Overnight: Istanbul Meals: N/A

Day 2Istanbul

Breakfast at the hotel . Drive from your hotel to Spice Market for shopping . Free time. Then meet and proceed to take 1,5 hrs Bosphorus Cruise excursion along the bosphorus , that is dividing the 2 continents Asia & Europe . During the excursion you will enjoy the beauty of Istanbul , with its forest , Palaces and wooden old houses built on both continents . Lunch at local restaurant . After lunch visit Sultanahmet Mosque (Blue Mosque) , Hippodrome and the famous Hagia Sophia . Free time at Grand Bazaar .

Day 3Istanbul - Ankara

Breakfast at the hotel . Departure from the hotel to visit Topkapi Palace ( harem section entrance free is not included ) the house of the ottoman sultans . Departure from the hotel to Ankara – the capital of Turkey . Arrival to Ankara in early evening

Day 4Ankara - Cappadocia

Best of Turkey and Egypt : Atatürk Mausoleum

Breakfast at the hotel . Visit Anatolian Civilizations Museum where you will see the Neolithic & Paleolithic ruins from Urartu , Hatti, Hittite, Phrygia civilizations, then proceed to Mausoleum of Ataturk , the founder of Turkish Republic. In the afternoon drive to Cappadocia . En route visit the Underground city that is one of the biggest underground city in the region, constructed by the first Christians to protect themselves from the attacks …We continue to proceed to the Derwish House to attend Whirling Dervishes Ceremony which represents the mystical journey of spiritual ascent of man using love, the search for the truth and get to the “Perfection”

Day 5Cappadocia

Best of Turkey and Egypt : Cappadocia Fairy Chimneys

Breakfast . Full day visit at Cappadocia . Visit Göreme Open Air Museum – a UNESCO Heritage site , a fantastic region with it’s cave churches located on the valley. Then proceed to Uchisar Village and then the spectacular fairy chimneys. Visit Derbent Valley with and explore the natural rock formations and get a chance to attend the workshops of carpets and onyx-stones .

Day 6Cappadocia - Pamukkale

After the breakfast at the hotel , drive to Pamukkale. En route visit Sultanhan Caravansarai that was built during Seljuk Empire and used long years as a stop over for the travellers and merchants. Continue to Pamukkale . Visit Cotton Steps – a UNESCO heritage site that has been believed to have healing thermal water. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 7Pamukkale - Ephesus - İzmir

Breakfast . Drive to Selcuk – Ephesus . Visit the Ephesus Ruins – the city that was dedicated to Artemis I the Odeon, Temple of Hadrian, the House of Love, the Library of Celsus, the Agora .Then proceed for Virgin Mary House – has been believed it is the final resting place of the mother of Jesus . Then stop at Leather Production Store . Proceed for Izmir .

Day 8Izmir - Istanbul - Cairo

After breakfast transfer to Izmir airport for a flight to Cairo via Istanbul. Welcome to Egypt! Upon arrival at Cairo airport, our representative will be there to meet and assist you through the airport formalities. You will be escorted to your hotel for check in. The rest of the day is free to relax.

Day 9Cairo

Breakfast. Half day visits to the Three Pyramids of Giza; Cheops, Chefren & Micerinos, the Eternal Sphinx & the Valley Temple of Chefren “doesn’t include entrance to the interior of the Pyramids”.

Day 10Cairo - Aswan

Transfer to Cairo International Airport & domestic flight to Aswan. Arrival to Aswan. Transfer to the motor ship. Going out to visit the Temple of Philae & the High Dam of Aswan. In the afternoon, a ride on a Faluca along the River Nile will be undertaken (typical Egyptian sailboats) from where we can admire & enjoy a panoramic visit to the Mausoleum of Agha Khan, to the Elephantine Island & to the Botanical Garden. Overnight on board. The optional excursion to the Temples of Abu Simbel can be made on this day Or on the next day according to the domestic flight schedule CAI – ASW in this day & according to the navigation schedule from Aswan to Kom Ombo in the following day.

Day 11Aswan - Kom Ombo - Edfu

In the morning, possibility to make optional excursion (See details at the booking page) to the famous Temples of Abu Simbel. Navigation towards Kom Ombo & visit to the Temple of Kom Ombo the only one dedicated to two divinities: The god Sobek with a crocodile head & the god Haroeris with a falcon head. Navigation towards Edfu. Overnight on board. Overnight: Nile Cruise Meals: Breakfast – Lunch – Dinner

Day 12Edfu - Esna - Luxor

Arrival to Edfu & visit to the Temple of Edfu dedicated to the god Horus. Navigation towards Esna. We will cross the Esna Lock & continue sailing to Luxor.

Day 13Luxor - Cairo

Breakfast & disembarkation. In the morning, visit to the Western Bank in Luxor; to the Necropolis of Thebes; to the Valley of the Kings, to the Funeral Temple of the Queen Hatshepsut known as El-Deir El-Bahari, & to the Colossi of Memnon. In the afternoon, visit to the Eastern Bank in Luxor; to the Temples of Luxor & Karnak. Transfer to Luxor International Airport & domestic flight back to Cairo. Arrival to Cairo. Transfer to the hotel & overnight.
