After breakfast, departure for Udawalawe National Park, where herds of wild elephants roam free. The road will also pass through the city of Ratnapura, known for its mines of precious stones. In the early afternoon, jeep safari in the park.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Buduruwagala with your private driver. Buduruwagala Raja Maha Viharaya is situated in the Monaragala district in Sri Lanka. The name Buduruwagala stands for “the rock with the statue of Buddha”. It consists of seven Buddha statues that date back to the 10th century. There is a huge Buddha statue in the middle which is 51 feet
in height and is named “Abhaya Mudra”. According to historians, the carvings belong to the Mahayana Buddhist style. It belongs to the Pallava-Sri Lankan art tradition. Transfer to Ella. En-route visit Ravana Falls.

Overnight Ella Meals: Breakfast 

After breakfast, visit Little Adam’s Peak, Nine Arch Bridge and Dowa Temple. Imagine yourself in the highlands surrounded by tea plantations, intricate vegetable plots and rocky hills – a day spent in Ella is exactly like this! Visit the historic Nine Arch Bridge that will transport you back to the British colonial era and climb up the Little Adam’s Peak to see dramatic views of the sunset. Visit Tea Factory and Dowa Temple.

Overnight Ella Meals: Breakfast – Dinner

After breakfast and then transfer to the Ella railway station. The journey takes you past tea plantations, mountains and rolling hills (1st class train tickets will be provided) . Situated at an elevation of 1100 metres. Get down from Nanu Oya Railway Station. (approx 3h). And the chauffeur will pick up the clients and proceed to Kandy.

Alternative 01 – : Visit Millenium Elephant Foundation, a camp that welcomes old working elephants for their well-deserved retirement after years of service in the temples. You will be able to walk through the forest together with an elephant and then watch them enjoy their bath.

Alternative 02 – : visit to Peradeniya Botanical Garden, renowned for its impressive collection of orchids, its spice garden, medicinal plants as well as a magnificent alley of coconut trees. 

After breakfast and proceed to Dambulla. Visit Dambulla Cave Temple. These 5 caves are home to more that 150 Buddha statues illustrating Sri Lankan Art from different eras. Thereafter proceed to Sigiriya.

After breakfast, proceed to Polonnaruwa. Visit of the ancient capita Polonnaruwa with its famous Gal Viharaya : the tree large Buddhas covered into the rock face. Proceed to Passikudah

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Sigiriya. En-route visit Minneriya National Park by 4X4. Renowned worldwide for its amazing herbs of elephants. Proceed to Sigiriya.

Overnight Sigirya  Meals: Breakfast – Dinner

After breakfast, check out from the Hotel and proceed to Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Sigiriya Lion Rock is an ancient rock fortress known for its massive column of rock that reaches nearly 200 meters high. The site dates back to the reign of King Kasyapa (477-495 AD), who close this site as his new capital. He decorates
the walls with frescoes and built an impressive palace right on top of the rock column, accessible only through the mouth of an enormous carved lion. Proceed to Hunumulla.
