How Can We Help?
I am traveling alone. Do I have to pay a single supplement?
Traditionally, hotels charge a single supplement because they’d have a certain amount of double rooms to fill – and solo travelers technically don’t “fill” the room.
This is justified due to the fact that the cost of providing and cleaning the room is the same, regardless of how many people are in it. Solo travelers have to pay a charge to occupy the room alone; for the “privilege” of not having to share with someone else.
At Eskapas, We don’t really think that’s fair – you should be rewarded for having the courage to travel solo, not penalized!-
That’s why we used to pair solo travelers with another solo guest so you don’t have to pay that supplement.
However it ended due to pandemic. We’re very sorry for that.
