Day 1Arrive in Rome, Italy

Arrival in Rome, meet and greet and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay in Rome.

Day 2Rome

Papal Basilica of Saint Peter in the Vatican

Breakfast at the hotel; meet our professional guide at 8.15 am in Piazza del Risorgimento, and take a tour of the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel, jumping the lines! Admire the Gallery of Tapestries, the Geographical Maps and the beautiful Raphael’s rooms before arriving at the famous Sistine Chapel and inside the unforgettable Basilica! After the Sistine Chapel you will be taken, through an exclusive access to St. Peter’s Basilica, skipping long lines.

Lunch on your own and after lunch meet our guide at 2.15 pm Arch of Constantine for the most complete tour of the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. Access the Palatine Hill with no line and discover the hill where Rome was founded at the beginning. Then reach the Colosseum and be amazed by this monument that is the symbol of Rome in the world.
The Amphitheater created to entertain ancient Roman citizens with bloody shows of gladiators, animals and cruel games, is now one of the most fascinating landmark of the City.
Then, walk on the original path of ancient Rome along the Via Sacra and see the Temples of Vesta, Antonino and Faustina, the ancient Basilica Julia and Aemilia and dream about the glorious past of the Roman Empire. Unforgettable!
Overnight stay in Rome

Day 3Rome

Breakfast at the hotel, and feel free to stroll around the shopping streets, the most famous monuments and the most hidden gems of the Eternal city. Overnight stay in Rome.

Day 4Rome > Florence > Pisa > Florence

After breakfast at your hotel, at the time indicated, head to Rome train station to reach Florence. Once there, make your own way to your hotel and check in.
In the afertoon meeting point at Piazzale Montelungo (Montelungo Square), in front of the yellow street sign Gray Line at 1:15 pm (on your own) to join the group before departing to Pisa at 1:30 pm. Upon arrival in Pisa, you will visit Piazza dei Miracoli, the Baptistery (outside), the Cathedral (inside) and the Leaning Tower (outside). Return to Florence and overnight

Day 5Florence

For a very different perspective on Florence, you can sign up for a trip on one of the traditional wooden barchetti that used to ply the Arno as transport for building materials

After breakfast at your hotel, reach the meeting point at At 08:00 am Travel Store & Welcome Point, in Via dei Tavolini, 15r – (on your own) to join the group before departing (at 8.15 am). Start your Tour from the very heart of Florence, aboard of a comfortable luxury minivan. Your English-speaking driver will lead you along the romantic Viale dei Colli up to Piazzale Michelangelo to admire the wonderful panorama of the city, one of the most beautiful in the world. The tour will proceed through the old city center with the Guided Visit of the renowned Accademia Gallery, with a total immersion in the art of Michelangelo to know his most renowned works, the “David”, and other important masterpieces such as ”I Prigioni”, ”San Matteo” and the “Palestrina Pietà”. Then you will proceed with a walking Tour which will include the outdoor guided visit of San Lorenzo Church and the Duomo complex: San Giovanni Baptistery with its bronze doors as the famous Porta del Paradiso and the Cathedral with the magnificent Cupola del Brunelleschi and Giotto’s bell tower. The walk continues along lively Via Calzaiuoli in the heart of the city, where you can admire the imposing and singular Orsanmichele Church, a masterpiece of Florentine gothic art, decorated with shrines with statues of the patron saints of the powerful medieval trade guilds. Then you reach the bustling Mercato della Paglia (Straw Market): don’t forget to rub the nose of the famous “porcellino” (pig) and toss a coin into the fountain to bring you good luck! Going on, you can admire the romantic, picturesque Ponte Vecchio, the oldest bridge in Florence, with its renowned jewellery shops. Your lovely blast from the past will end in Piazza Signoria, one of the most beautiful squares in the world and the political centre of the city. In this true “outdoor museum”, you’ll be amazed as you admire the beautiful Fountain of Neptune with the marvellous and imposing marble statue by mmannati and then, looking around, the sculptural masterpieces of the Loggia dei Lanzi, including the Cellini’s Perseus and the Gianbologna’s Rape of the Sabines. Dominating all this is the majestic Palazzo Vecchio with its crenellated Arnolfo tower, one of the most famous symbols of Florence that you will be able to admire in all its magnificence. Overnight.

Optional Afternoon Tour – Uffizi Gallery skip the line Guided Visit
You can’t leave Florence without visiting one of the most famous art galleries in the world. Here you can admire numerous works of art by Botticelli, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Raffaello, Giotto, Cimabue, Masaccio and many others. Among the precious exhibition halls of the Gallery, the most renowned one contains the refined works by Botticelli, amongst which the absolute masterpieces: “Primavera” and “Birth of Venus”. The guided Tour ends at the Uffizi Terrace where you can enjoy an amazing and exclusive view of the city’s most important monuments.
