Paros

Welcome to Paros

In recent years, Paros has been predominantly regarded as a ferry hub. This is due to the fact that it has been successively inhabited by a variety of peoples, including the Cretans, Minoans, Ionians, Arcadians, Macedonians, Romans, and Byzantines, all of whom have left their imprint on this huge, mountainous, and rich island. But the lively center of Paros, with its ancient remnants, the resort town of Naoussa, and the quaint rural villages are all the more appealing because of the relative absence of visitors. There is a lot to do, including superb windsurfing, kite-surfing, and diving, and there are also nice hikes.

From a geological point of view, Paros has been a Greek star for a very long time. The island of Paros is a member of the Cyclades and is located in the middle of the Aegean Sea. It is mostly recognized for its classic Cycladic architecture and its stunning sandy beaches with crystalline seas, making it one of the most popular vacation spots in all of Greece.

One kilometer to the southwest of Paros is the island of Antiparos, which is a smaller and more laid-back island. It is readily accessible by auto ferry or excursion boat.

It is possible to access the island by plane from the International Airport of Athens and by ferry from the ports of Athens (Piraeus, Rafina, and Lavrion). Both of these modes of transportation are straightforward. Located in close proximity to several of the most well-known islands in the Cyclades, including Mykonos, Santorini, and Naxos,
