Syvota
There are many reasons why Syvota is considered to be one of the most exotic destinations in Greece. Lacy shores, luscious green islets, long sheltered beaches with crystal clear waters, and secret coves are just some of the characteristics that nature has generously provided for the settlement. Green and blue, which are representative of Thesprotia’s Prefecture, are the primary reasons. However, despite the fact that it is the ideal location for sailors from the Ionian archipelago, it is a destination that everyone should visit.
Mavro Oros, also known as Black Mountain, Agios Nikolaos, and Mourtemeno are some of the smaller islands that can be found in close proximity to the coast. Other smaller islets may also be found in this vicinity. You should be aware that it is well worth the money to rent a boat and cruise across the placid waterways of the region. Allow yourself to be enchanted by the enchantment of paradise as you explore your very own private coves or shoreline (the beaches Diapori and Alati, which means salt) are among our favorites). Pisina, which literally translates to “pool,” is the most famous beach in Agios Nikolaos.
Here, you will be able to take pleasure in the beach’s beautiful white sand and emerald blue crystalline seas, which are surrounded by lush greenery. Bella Vraka is the second beach in the region to be awarded a five-star rating, and it is located near Mourtemeno. To get to Bella Vraka, you will need to walk across a thin stretch of golden sand that separates the mainland from the beach.
Check out Zavia Beach, which is located close to the center of the village, and enjoy the turquoise waves and verdant surroundings. Zeri and the sandy white Gallikos Molos Beaches (which literally translates to “French Pier”) are two of the beautiful beaches that can be seen in the northern portion of Syvota.
When you leave Syvota and continue in the direction of Perdika, you will find two additional beautiful beaches waiting for you: Mikri and Megali Ammos, which literally translates to “small sand” and “big sand,” respectively. Both of these beaches provide opportunities for engaging in various types of water sports.
