What does it mean Twin or Double bed?

Most hotels outside of the U.S. offer a choice of either twin beds or a double bed in the rooms. “Twin beds” means two individual beds designed for one person each and a “Double bed” is a larger bed that can accommodate two people. The size of the bed (King, Queen, Twin etc.) will vary by hotel and room category.
