This 15-day tour, starts in Istanbul and ends in Athens; 
We will start with a 8-day Turkish delights on Istanbul(2)-Ankara(1)-Cappadocia(2)-Pamukkale(1)-Ephesus- Izmir(1) Adventure trip . Itinerary

Day 1Istanbul Arrival

Arrival to Istanbul . Meet with english speaking assistant at the airport . Transfer to the hotel for check in . Overnight at the hotel .

Day 2Istanbul

Breakfast at the hotel . Drive from your hotel to Spice Market for shopping . Free time. Then meet and proceed to take 1,5 hrs bosphorus Cruise excursion along the bosphorus , that is dividing the 2 continents Asia & Europe . During the excursion you will enjoy the beauty of Istanbul , with its forest , Palaces and wooden old houses built on both continents . Lunch at local restaurant . After lunch visit Sultanahmet Mosque , Hippodrome and the famous Hagia Sophia . Overnight: Istanbul Meals: Breakfast and Lunch

Day 3Istanbul - Ankara

Breakfast at the hotel . Departure from the hotel to visit Topkapi Palace ( harem section entrance free is not included ) the house of the ottoman sultans . Free time at Grand Bazaar . ( closed during the first day of the religious holidays ) . Departure from the hotel to Ankara – the capital of Turkey . Arrival to Ankara late afternoon

Day 4Ankara - Cappadocia

Breakfast at the hotel . Visit Anatolian Civilizations Museum where you will see the Neolithic & Paleolithic ruins from Urartu , Hatti, Hittite, Phrygia civilizations, then proceed to Mausoleum of Ataturk , the founder of Turkish Republic. In the afternoon drive to Cappadocia . En route visit the Underground city that is one of the biggest underground city in the region, constructed by the first Christians to protect themselves from the attacks.

Day 5Cappadocia

Breakfast . Full day visit at Cappadocia . Visit Göreme Open Air Museum – a UNESCO Heritage site , a fantastic region with it’s cave churches located on the valley. Then proceed to Uchisar Village and then the spectacular fairy chimneys. Visit Derbent Valley with and explore the natural rock formations and get a chance to attend the workshops of carpets and onyx-stones . Overnight: Cappadocia Meals: Breakfast – Dinner

Day 6Cappadocia - Sultanhanı - Pamukkale

After the breakfast at the hotel , drive to Pamukkale. En route visit Sultanhan Caravansarai that was built during Seljuk Empire and used long years as a stop over for the travellers and merchants.Continue to Pamukkale . Visit Cotton Steps – a UNESCO heritage site that has been believed to have healing thermal water.

Day 7Pamukkale - Ephesus - Izmir

Breakfast . Drive to Selcuk – Ephesus . Visit the Ephesus Ruins – the city that was dedicated to Artemis I the Odeon, Temple of Hadrian, the House of Love, the Library of Celsus, the Agora .Then proceed for Virgin Mary House – has been believed it is the final resting place of the mother of Jesus . Then stop at Leather Production Store . Proceed for Izmir . Overnight: Izmir Meals: Breakfast – Dinner

Day 8Izmir - Samos

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the port of Kusadasi and departure to Samos. At the scheduled time, boarding the ferry that takes us to the Greek island of Samos. Arrive and transfer to the hotel. Free afternoon to enjoy the beaches or discover the island. Samos is not only one of the most popular, but also one of the most beautiful islands in Greece. This gem of the Eastern Aegean stands out for its lush green natural setting, quaint fishing villages, and stunning beaches.

Day 9Samos - Mykonos

Breakfast at the hotel. At the agreed time, transfer to the port to take the ferry that takes us to the magnificent island of Mykonos. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Free afternoon to enjoy the island of Mykonos

Day 11Mykonos - Santorini

Breakfast at the hotel. At the agreed time transfer to the port to take the ferry to the famous island of Santorini. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Free afternoon to enjoy the crescent-shaped Santorini (or Thíra), the precious gem of the Aegean, which is actually a group of islands consisting of Thíra, Thirassiá, Asproníssi, Palea and Nea Kaméni in the southernmost part of Cyclades.
Santorini is considered to be the most sought after place for a romantic getaway in Greece, since there are not many places in the world where you can enjoy exquisitely clear waters while perched on the rim of a massive active volcano in the middle of the sea!

Day 12Santorini

Breakfast at the hotel. Free day to enjoy this wonderful island unique for its morphology and its picturesque villages hanging on the edge of the cliff, its beaches of black, white and red sand. Possibility of visiting the submerged volcano. Overnight: Santorini Meals: Breakfast

Day 13Santorini - Athens

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the port at the agreed time to take the ferry to Athens. Arrival at the port of Piraeus, disembarkation and transfer to the hotel. Overnight: Athens Meals: Breakfast

Day 14Athens

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to visit the city of Athens. Kalimármaro, Hadrian’s Arch, Parliament-monument of the Unknown Soldier and the traditional Changing of the Guard, in Constitution Square-Syntagma Square. Place de la Concorde-Omonia Square. Acropolis; The Propylaea, the Ionian Temple of Athena Nike, the Erection, Parthenon. Free afternoon. Overnight: Athens Meals: Breakfast

An exceptionally comprehensive tour of the main attractions in Turkey with a fully escorted tour while you are on the most picturesque Greek islands at your own pace. I and my husband, really appreciated the incredible culture of Turkey and food, hospitality of local people. Our guide Mahmet and driver Mujit were very nice people. The trip is a group tour in Turkey. When you pass to Greece, your trip changes almost to a private tour. It makes sense with a group it would be difficult to appreciate these heaven-like islands. We mostly liked Crete among Greek Islands and we want to come back here again for a longer stay. The communication with Eskapas was easy and the trip is generally well planned. It is also well-balanced in terms of sightseeing, free time and discovery.. We have already booked our trip to Italy for 2024! thank you!!!

Eskapas set us up with a wonderful itinerary: exploring Turkey and Greece on the same trip was once-in-a-lifetime opportunity… From the ancient sights of Istanbul and Athens to the natural marvels of Cappadocia and the breathtaking views of Santorini, I and my wife loved every part of this itinerary. Hotels are 4-stars and the guides and drivers were Top! The trip is managed in 3 parts (1) Fully escorted Turkey part you are with a guide and a group of 18-20 travelers. Everythings is managed successfully by our guide Nadi. (2) Island Hopping Part It was completely private except for some of our group also followed us but we crossed only during transfer. (3) Athens part Athens city tour was guided and we were part of a new group. Every step was well documented and the communication with Eskapas Travel was easy. We strongly recommend it.
