France Trip Reviews

The package offers excellent activities in Paris

The package offers excellent activities in Paris including two excellent excursions that you cannot do alone. (or it would be very expensive) One of the excursions is a full day Paris Highlights including with Louvre (in-person guide) Museum, Eiffel Tower (until second floor but the guide helps you to get the ticket to go upper floors) Seine cruise etc.

The second excursion is a half day tour to Versailles Palace. The guide Evelyne was a professional guide speaking English with a charming French accent. The Hotel Perreyve’s is absolutely well located hotel close to Luxembourg Gardens in St. Germain district, 10 min. walking distance to all tourist attractions.

The only inconvenience is that the rooms were like coffins. Unfortunately in the city center of Paris most of the hotel rooms are small. But we liked it and it is a part of French chaos. The communication with tour operator Eskapas, before and after the trip, was excellent. We highly recommend this tour.

Excellent short trip

That includes most of Paris highlights. We also opt-in for a day excursion to Disneyland, it was awesome. Hotel Perreyve was in the hearth of Paris and we’ll decorated. Transfers were private and on-time. We had different guide each day. The only annoying thing it was PCR requirement every 48 hours. Otherwise we really like the trip. Thank you.

This was the trip of a lifetime!!!

We never could have planned and organized a trip so detailed and just perfect in every way on our own!!! We had such a wonderful time with the group and everything went so smoothly. We loved all of the tours and the driver was prompt and professional. All tickets were purchased in advance and waiting for us upon arrival so all we had to do the entire trip was enjoy ourselves!!! There was not a single moment we had to “think”. Everything was handled for us. Ann Marie was a wonderful tour guide, her English was great and her knowledge of France, Art, History was wonderful. She made us feel like locals by the time our tour was finished! Thank you very much for helping us to live this great experience.

Best Things To Do in France

France in many ways is not just a country but a way of life. It has given the world its culture, cuisine, its fashions and so much more. France produced many influential artists, thinkers and scientists, and remains a prominent global centre of all things cultural.  The country possesses world-class art galleries and outstanding museums; it offers everything architecturally from ancient Roman sites to Renaissance Chateaux; its cuisine is legendary as are its wines and liqueurs. The sights, sounds and ambience are all there to devour on a France vacation.

Appreciate Art at the Louvre Museum

This is the largest museum in the world. And home to famous paintings and sculptures like the Mona Lisa and Venus de Milo. In 1546, Francis I converted as a residence for the kings of France. After the fall of the empire, the beautiful building became a museum. In 1682, Louis XIV chose the Palace of Versailles as his residence.  And it left the Louvre as a place to display the royal collection. Inside are about 38,000 objects, dating from prehistoric up into the 21 st century.  Located on the Right Bank of the Seine, this is a must visit when going to Paris.

Walk the Champs -Elysees

Although this street is usually always bustling, who can resist shopping in France? Along the avenue, you can find small cafes, restaurants, and even fast food. Among the variety of stores you can find here, there is Tiffany & Co., Cartier, Louis Vuitton, Sephora, Hermes, Valentino, and many more. Visit Laduree, where you can find the best macarons in over 100 different flavors.

Climb the Arc De Triomphe

Located on the west end of the Champs-Elysees, the Arc de Triomphe is a memorial for all who fought for France especially in the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic wars. The French Emperor, Napoleon, ordered the construction of the Arc de Triomphe in 1806. In 1920, the remains of an unknown soldier were placed underneath the Arc and an eternal flame is lit every evening to commemorate the soldiers that died in both World Wars. You can climb to the top of the monument for the best view of many French landmarks.

Take in the Views From the Eiffel Tower

No  trip to France would be complete without seeing the Eiffel Tower. It took two years to build, and since then the historic landmark became a visual representation of Paris. You can walk the multiple levels of the tower, but they also offer an elevator that takes you straight to the different viewing platforms and to the very top. Whether you choose to visit during the day or night, it’s a memorable view.

Learn About History at Mont Saint-Michel

Located on an inland right off of  Normandy, it has held strategic fortifications. Since ancient times and since the 8th century, it has been the seat of the monastery. The high tides turn this mountain into an island. And during the low tides, you can barely see any surrounding water.

Soak Up the Sun on the French Riviera

This Mediterranean coastline is on the beautiful southeast corner of France. It is the perfect place to relax, enjoy food and wine combined with fascinating history and culture.

Well organized in every way, from planning what we wanted to see most, and suggested what we wouldn’t want to miss. Eskapas was very flexible to turn our plan to reality.
