As a secular country, visitors to Turkey enjoy a great deal of freedom in what they can wear. Especially in coastal resorts. On the other hand, off the beaten track, it’s important to recognize that most people in Turkey are Muslim. Consequently, away from the beach resorts one should dress a little more conservatively than perhaps one would do at home.
In general, it’s recommended to dress modestly and avoid revealing clothing.
It’s important to note that the dress code in Turkey can vary depending on the region. In general, it’s a good idea to dress in layers so that you can adjust your clothing to the weather and the situation.
Visitors from most countries can obtain an e-visa online before arriving in Turkey. The e-visa is valid for tourism and commerce purposes only. For other purposes, such as work and study, visas are given by Turkish Embassies or Consulates.
U.S. citizens will need to provide a valid passport with at least 6 months of validity remaining, a passport-size photo, proof of financial stability, and proof of onward/return travel to obtain a Turkish visa.

We had a wonderful trip with a very well organized trip planning. Eskapas team adjusted our itinerary to enable us all to get the most out of the places we visited. Our tour was very interesting, educational, and fun!! Our bus was comfortable, our driver was kind and we felt safe while he was driving. Cave hotel in Cappadocia was amazing.
Very nice, time-efficient, safe, secure, good food. Favorite hotel, Iris in Canakkale, then Cave in Capadocia. It would be my favorite, but the electricity outlets were very deficient. I wish more information about hamams would have been given, perhaps make it an optional visit. I really regret having missed the experience.
